Shipping Policy

Paperlane ships worldwide. Delivery details are collected at checkout and passed only to the carrier handling your parcel.

Standard worldwide shipping is a flat $6 and is free on orders over $60. Lane Club and Lane Studio members receive free worldwide shipping with no threshold. All prices are in USD.

Orders are usually packed within 1–2 business days. Estimated transit is 3–7 business days within the UK, 5–12 business days to Europe and North America, and 7–20 business days elsewhere. These are estimates, not guarantees; busy periods and customs can add time.

Because paper goods are sensitive to moisture and bending, we pack notebooks, pads and cards with rigid board and a water-resistant inner wrap. Larger orders ship in a protective box.

You'll receive a dispatch email with tracking where the service supports it. If tracking hasn't updated after the estimated window, contact support@thegeneralstoreuk.shop and we'll investigate with the carrier.

International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes charged by the destination country. These are set by local authorities and, where they apply, are the responsibility of the recipient. We cannot predict or refund them.

If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and contents and contact us within 7 days. For lost parcels, we'll open a carrier enquiry and re-ship or refund once resolved. See the Returns and Refund policies.
